The most famous is the spectacular 2,000 year-old rose rock city of Petra, which draws吸引 some one million tourists every year. But the country also is chock full of充滿 other historic sites歷史遺跡 dating from the Neolithic Age新石器時代, through Biblical times聖經時代 to the Crusades十字軍東征 and Ottoman times奧斯曼帝國時代.

Government authorities can use the system to plan strategies for research and tourism development. Meanwhile, field inspectors現場監督 can quickly report theft竊盜 or damage by those visiting the sites.
Mega is expected to be used elsewhere, particularly in neighbouring Iraq, which has witnessed目睹 wide-scale大規模 damage and theft of its extensive廣泛 archaeological考古 treasures.
