Amidst在…之中 all the dramatic headlines about the rebel叛軍 advances進步 in Libya, two things are clear. Firstly: that the rebel forces still have a very limited offensive punch. Libyan government units seem to have dissolved溶解, 瓦解 in front of them, rather than being defeated in battle. Secondly: the retreat撤退 of the Libyan government forces has been caused by the damage they have sustained持續, 經久 from the air. We do not know how extensive大規模 the air attacks have been, but they clearly have dented凹陷 the Libyan government forces部隊的 morale士氣.

The Italians are already talking about an exit route路線 for Colonel Gaddafi himself and Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is casting himself in the role of a mediator中間人, 調解員 to attempt to試圖 bring about a ceasefire停火.
