Australia immigration abuse濫用

Most Chinese asylum seekers尋求庇護者 enter Australia on valid無效 student or tourist visas and then apply for refugee難民 status.

Patricia Cruise worked as an immigration officer移民署 reviewing such claims索賠 for eight years. She says the process is being routinely經常 cheated by applicants from China.

It's alleged that Chinese asylum seekers are told被告知 to pose as假裝成 members of the banned Falun Gong movement to convince說服 Australian authorities to allow them to stay.

Australian immigration officials have not responded to the allegations指控 but said in a statement that each refugee case "was assessed評估 on its merits優點."
